In this workshop you will learn and practice techniques to run with more efficiency and less risk of injury. You will learn not only the basics of the Pose Method® of running, but also how to develop your own inner-coach voice and how to use your environment, colors, emotions, visualized drones and more to continously train and improve your running. Coach Jeff's innovative workshops expand on training the physical movements of running to include an integration of Unbeatable Mind and SEALFIT concepts.
 
While Jeff coaches often at SEALFIT HQ, he is based on Switzerland, where specializes in training endurance athletes for mountain running, triathlon, ski mountaineering and adventure racing in the Alps. Jeff is Level 2 Pose Method®-certified, holds numerous CrossFit certifications and is a certified Rocket Yoga teacher. Jeff's ultra-running experience includes multi-day stage races in the Sahara Desert, 30+ hour mountain runs in the Alps and countless marathons and Ironman triathlons.

FAQ

Will you have transportation to and from SEALFIT HQ?

Yes, there will be a shuttle taking people back and forth from the La Costa Resort to SEALFIT HQ. There is also the option to take a taxi, rental car or Uber to HQ anytime of the day.

Will food be provided?

We will provide Coffee, Tea and Fruit Every Morning  Mark Divine will Kick-off Retreat and Introduce Paleo expert Robb Wolf  on December 4th, Cave Man Lunch Served. Hors d'oeuvers and refreshments will be served the evening of Saturday December 6th at the party

What is the schedule?

Tentative Schedule is posted below.  Subject to change.

  • Retreat starts at 1 pm  on Thursday, Dec. 4th  
  • Retreat ends at 5:30 pm on Saturday Dec 6th. But there is a party to follow so plan to attend! 
  • Thursday ends at 6:30
  • Friday starts at 7 am and events run until 6:30
  • Saturday starts at 7 am and events run until 5:30

What should I wear?

  • Casual dress overall. Active wear.
  • A change of clothes for the evening. Jeans and a jacket, just in case.
  • It will be warm during the day and cool at night most likely 75 by day and 60 by night.
  • Last year it rained so bring a rain jacket in case.
  • Running/tennis shoes

What to bring daily

How intense are the workouts? How fit do I need to be?

We will be able to accommodate most levels of fitness, and there will be opportunities to push yourself if you are more advanced. If you are extremely new or out of practice with core techniques, some of the workouts might be too much. But all are optional. Yoga should be gentle enough for almost everyone.

Can I workout at SEALFIT during off hours?

Due to security reasons, facility will be locked during off hours.

Will the hotel have Internet access?

Yes, there is WiFi in the rooms and in the lobby.
